Teaching Assistant, Data Center Technician, Japanese Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Participate actively in the compulsory Pre-Program TA Onboarding.

• Monitor designated Slack channels for Learner inquiries and respond promptly.

• Conduct follow-ups with Learners after each live session.

• Facilitate breakout rooms during lecture periods.

• Assist in maintaining the flow of the session in case the Lead Instructor faces technical challenges.

• Keep an eye on the relevant Slack channels for Learner questions and provide answers within 24 hours.

• Encourage discussions by asking your own questions.

• Review content materials in preparation for the upcoming lecture.

• Hold up to six Individual Office Hours weekly via Google Meets with Learners.

• Assess Learner submissions of exercises and projects within seven days of receipt.

• Submit weekly reports summarizing the week’s achievements and obstacles.

• Attend and engage in the weekly staff meeting with the Correlation One team and other Expert Network personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• CDCP® – Certified Data Center Professional from Epi.

• Proficiency in Japanese and English; strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in physical data centers or related environments.

• Background in mentoring, supervising, or leading technical teams is advantageous, particularly for candidates with limited formal teaching experience.

• Outstanding communication abilities and the capability to engage and support adult learners from varied backgrounds.

• A keen interest in assisting learners in transitioning to careers in data center operations and infrastructure.

• Empathy, adaptability, patience, and a learner-focused approach.

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent foundational IT certifications are beneficial.
