This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.
• Manage online classroom activities, which may include some or all of the following tasks as determined by the teacher.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in uploading PowerPoint presentations with learning objectives and relevant materials prior to class commencement.
• Record attendance.
• Establish due dates and deadlines for assignments.
• Document modifications for NCAA courses.
• Complete the Exit Slip recording form.
• Support the Lead Teacher with grading responsibilities.
• Provide class coverage in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
• Offer student assistance during class as needed.
• Send communication to students and/or homeschool instructors regarding participation issues, class absences, or incomplete assignments upon the teacher's request.
• Gather feedback from all participants of the Live Online classes through surveys, emails, and phone communications.
• Facilitate the resolution of complaints.
• Ensure efficient and timely communication with families, charter partners, homeschool teachers, and other stakeholders under the supervision of Team Lead and Learning Operations.
• Promptly address support tickets and inquiries from parents, advisors, sales teams, and instructors.
• Deliver courses effectively.
• Record Live Online sessions, ensuring that this task is completed.
• Assist in maximizing the use of online tools.
• Maintain proper student management during Live Online class sessions.
• Aid in the delivery of Live Online lessons by incorporating Bridgeway Academy standards and best practices in online teaching and learning.
• Supervise breakout rooms and respond to questions in chat.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Minimum of a high school diploma; some college education is preferred.
• Experience and proficiency in using Zoom or a similar online meeting platform.
• Familiarity with some or all Microsoft Suite applications: PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Ability to effectively use Learning Management Systems, with preference for experience in Moodle and the capability to learn LOC’s Edovate LMS.
• Preferred experience with educational technology tools such as Classkick, Nearpod, Kahoot!, Blooket, Gimkit, Quizziz, and Padlet.
• Ability to multitask effectively, utilizing either split screens or dual monitors.
• Strong independent working habits and problem-solving abilities.
