This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Assisting students in accessing education through tailored instruction and support for those with hearing impairments
• Performing evaluations and assessments
• Working in partnership with educators
• Providing valuable insights that lead to meaningful improvements
• A bachelor's degree in deaf education or special education
• Specialized certification in education for hearing impairments
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication methods
• Understanding of assistive hearing technologies and knowledge of deaf culture
• State licensure required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an educational environment
• Recent background checks or willingness to obtain them
• Professional integrity and accountability
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt and solve problems effectively
• Cultural awareness and time management skills
• Part-time position available during school hours
