Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Assess and evaluate student learning logs, delivering prompt and constructive feedback to foster student development.

• Provide weekly motivation and accountability for students.

• Prepare and distribute monthly progress reports to communicate student achievements.

• Engage with students in synchronous formats, including one-on-one, small group, or large group sessions.

• Mentor and tutor students enrolled in designated courses.

• Develop interactive lessons, activities, or learning experiences.

• Customize resources and support to address the unique needs of each student.

• Identify students at risk and coordinate suitable intervention pathways.

• Communicate with parents to offer guidance and support.

• Attend IEP meetings as required and collaborate with pertinent stakeholders.

• Partner with fellow educators to share knowledge and assist students throughout the program.

• Fulfill additional grading and instructional duties as necessary.

• Provide ongoing mentorship and support for a core group of assigned students while also contributing to broader program needs based on team and student requirements.

• Engage in a positive, collaborative, and team-focused environment dedicated to student success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid teaching certification in Washington.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong belief that each child is distinct and benefits from personalized learning approaches.

• Compassionate, organized, patient, and reliable in communication.

• Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).

• Confident in the ability to master various online tools, systems, and applications.

• Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Must have access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.

• Eligible to work in the U.S. (with the flexibility to live/work from any pre-approved location).
