This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Assist students throughout their academic journey.
• Engage directly with students and their families to offer encouragement, accountability, and personalized support.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student learning logs in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with students in one-on-one, small-group, or large-group formats.
• Mentor and tutor students enrolled in designated courses.
• Develop captivating lessons, activities, or educational opportunities.
• Customize resources and support to address the specific needs of each student.
• Identify at-risk students and facilitate appropriate intervention pathways.
• Communicate with parents to offer guidance and support.
• Work together with other educators to share knowledge and support students throughout the program.
• Valid teaching certification in Oregon.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong understanding that each child is unique and benefits from tailored learning approaches.
• Compassionate, organized, patient, and a reliable communicator.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.).
• Self-assured in learning various online tools, systems, and programs.
• Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (can live/work from any pre-approved location).
