This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Prepare federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, and Individual clients.
• Organize tax information and aid in addressing tax notices and examinations.
• Provide assistance during tax audits.
• Conduct light research projects.
• Monitor and evaluate financial information.
• Communicate the status of work and client-related issues to Senior and/or Manager.
• Collaborate with tax professionals to exchange knowledge and guarantee high-quality deliverables.
• Engage in training and professional development activities.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Master’s in taxation is preferred.
• General understanding of federal and state tax regulations, encompassing corporate, individual, trust, gifts, and partnership taxation.
• CPA eligibility is preferred.
• Capability to apply fundamental accounting principles to engagements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Remarkable analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM, and Caseware is advantageous.
