Tax Specialist, IT and Digitalization Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will evaluate clients’ business processes and create solutions for an efficient financial accounting workflow.

• You will work with the client to implement the chosen upstream/source systems and offer training on their operation.

• You will document the processes executed and hand them over to the team for continuous monthly execution.

• You will assist with internal firm administration and manage DATEV user rights.

• You will conduct DATEV data transfers.

• You will help colleagues with any DATEV-related inquiries.

• You will create custom reports and perform financial analyses for clients.

• You will communicate project updates and develop implementation plans.

• You will prioritize tasks while managing multiple simultaneous projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• A completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte:r) or an equivalent qualification as an accountant.

• Experience with DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen, including administration and data transfers.

• Strong understanding of various upstream/source systems that integrate with DATEV.

• A solid business-finance comprehension of accounting logic, reporting, and key performance indicators.

• Excellent Excel proficiency, including advanced data preparation, structuring, and manual system integrations.

• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems such as Odoo, Business Central, Sage, or Diamant is an advantage.

• Proficient German language skills and good command of English.
