Tax Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and analyze tax legislation, regulations, and policies at the federal, state, and local levels in the U.S. and Canada.

• Investigate changes in legislation and regulations and evaluate their effects on payroll, tax, finance, and associated applications.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery, and Support teams to ensure timely and compliant system updates.

• Offer clear and actionable advice regarding tax and regulatory obligations.

• Create documentation that outlines legislative modifications, their business implications, and necessary system/process adjustments.

• Monitor forthcoming regulatory changes and assist in compliance initiatives.

• Deliver training and support to internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. legislative analysis, payroll tax, legal compliance, or regulatory affairs.

• Solid understanding of U.S. tax, legal, and regulatory structures.

• Experience with Canadian regulations is advantageous.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in converting complex regulatory data into straightforward, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as FSCM and HCM is preferred.

• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities in a remote setting.

• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.

• Must reside in the USA.

• Must possess the legal right to work in the U.S.
