Equity Research Analyst – Coverage Draft Evaluation

📋 Description

• Analyze an initiation of coverage draft note along with its associated financial models

• Assess the precision and rationale of suggested valuation techniques

• Detect analytical deficiencies, accounting discrepancies, or overly optimistic forecasting assumptions

• Guide the process for verifying institutional financial research

• Offer constructive feedback by comparing the draft note to conventional institutional research reports

• Assist in enhancing financial modeling evaluation processes and pinpointing frequent accounting discrepancies in early-stage coverage reports

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in a role such as an equity research analyst, investment analyst, or a comparable financial position

• Extensive experience in reviewing or creating initiation of coverage notes

• Profound knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial forecasting

• Proficient in identifying and articulating accounting inconsistencies within intricate models

• Strong hands-on experience with valuation methodologies

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles

• Applications from sell-side equity analysts, buy-side investment analysts, and portfolio managers are encouraged
