Tax Manager – Investment Partnership

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise the preparation and examination of partnership tax returns for fund-of-funds, including Schedules K-1 and K-3.

• Ensure adherence to U.S. tax reporting requirements for foreign investments and income.

• Investigate and address federal and state tax issues affecting investment partnerships and their stakeholders.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements and work alongside practice leadership to devise and execute solutions.

• Guide, develop, and retain team members by actively participating in the firm's mentoring program.

• Collaborate directly with clients, senior management, and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).

• At least 5 years of experience dealing with tax clients in investment partnerships.

• Proficiency in investment partnership tax and the capability to manage complex compliance projects independently.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Passion for process improvement and technology.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax (preferred).

• Familiarity with large partner populations and intricate multistate partnership compliance (preferred).

• Background in developing or executing standardized workpapers, compliance processes, or automation initiatives (preferred).

• Experience with or enthusiasm for data analytics, AI, automation, and other technologies that improve tax compliance and reporting (preferred).
