This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and facilitate the preparation and review of the Group’s consolidated US federal corporation income tax return, utilizing technical expertise in US taxation concerning international operations such as GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, and Foreign Tax Credits.
• Review estimated payments pertaining to federal, state, and local income taxes.
• Assist in the compilation of quarterly and annual consolidated income tax provisions under ASC 740, which includes ETR reconciliation, FIN 48 and uncertain tax positions, deferred tax assets and liabilities, and valuation allowance analysis.
• Provide support for SOX documentation and internal controls related to taxation.
• Stay informed on tax legislation, investigate tax issues, and offer tax planning proposals that affect the business.
• Aid in the examination and auditing of the Group’s subsidiary tax returns and engage with external advisors.
• Assist with transfer pricing strategies and compliance as necessary.
• Identify and implement enhancements in US tax compliance, reporting processes, and documentation, while participating in cross-functional tax and finance initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax; a CPA or Master’s degree in Tax is required (a combination of education and experience will be taken into account).
• Over 8 years of corporate tax experience, ideally with a blend of Big 4 public accounting and in-house corporate tax roles.
• Extensive experience with US taxation of international operations, including GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT, and Foreign Tax Credits.
• Proficient in ASC 740 reporting and analysis.
• Experience in supporting tax audits and liaising with external advisors.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail.
