This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Actively monitor designated federal, state, and local taxing authorities for changes in payroll tax regulations.
• Investigate and analyze regular regulatory updates to evaluate their nature, scope, and effects on the company's payroll tax software product.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with representatives from assigned federal, state, and local taxing agencies.
• Clearly and accurately document agency requirements for payroll tax filings, payments, and reporting.
• Identify regulatory updates that necessitate communication with stakeholders.
• Contribute to initiatives for process enhancement, documentation standards, and quality requirements.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 2 years of experience in payroll tax compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Proven ability to research, interpret, and concisely summarize routine regulatory information.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to documentation accuracy.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and jurisdictions in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
