This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring the timely and precise delivery of accounting and tax services.
• Keep accurate records of client information, ensuring that all documentation is current and complete.
• Oversee and manage accounting and tax compliance obligations for clients, including tax and statutory filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to guarantee timely service delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to better understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
• Advise clients on best practices in accounting and tax.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new services and processes to enhance the client experience.
• Ensure customers are set up in BAU-related systems and that all internal trackers are regularly updated.
• Update and maintain BAU-related systems, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. Systems include, but are not limited to, FreshDesk, Salesforce, SharePoint, Monday, Microsoft Teams, and any other relevant software.
• Generate service tickets and assess data submitted by customers and/or LSPs.
• Manage calendars to ensure that customers and LSPs adhere to all deadlines.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both LSPs and customers.
• Address customer ad hoc inquiries, ensuring that the appropriate teams are engaged for escalations or service add-on opportunities.
• Track the status of assigned tasks and tickets, providing regular updates as necessary.
• Comply with SLAs regarding responsiveness and quality where applicable.
• Build and maintain a region and/or service line-specific knowledge base.
• Deliver exceptional customer-centric service.
• Manage and contribute to team processes and other business improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and tax within a customer-facing service delivery role.
• At least 3 years of experience managing customer accounting deadlines.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP.
• Experience with market accounting systems such as Xero, SAGE Intacct, QuickBooks, or others.
• General understanding of the differences and complexities involved in providing bookkeeping, accounts payable & receivable, management reporting, consolidation services, and similar functions across multiple jurisdictions.
