Talent Sourcer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for technical and engineering positions within our European programs (UAS, C-UAS, autonomy, embedded systems, flight testing).

• Locate and engage with passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, niche communities, conferences, and competitor analysis.

• Create outreach messages that receive responses—personalized, technically credible, and sensitive to defense-sector nuances.

• Pre-qualify candidates regarding their right-to-work status and clearance eligibility prior to handing them over to the TABP.

• Conduct structured talent mapping activities (target companies, university clusters, competition circuits) and present the results to recruiters and hiring managers.

• Maintain accurate pipeline data in our ATS (Personio) and provide reports on sourcing funnel metrics such as response rates, conversions, and channel performance.

• Collaborate with TABPs and hiring managers during intake to convert role requirements into searchable candidate profiles.

• Continuously explore new channels, tools, and messaging approaches to enhance outreach effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of sourcing experience, with a significant focus on deep-tech, engineering, aerospace, or defense sectors.

• A demonstrated history of engaging passive technical talent, showcasing response rates rather than merely sending volumes.

• Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search, and at least one contemporary sourcing toolset.

• A genuine curiosity for learning about complex engineering domains, evidenced by independent research and the initiative to ask in-depth questions about our technical areas.

• Familiarity with European hiring regulations—right-to-work, relocation, and foundational knowledge of security clearance eligibility.

• Fluent in English; comfortable working remotely within a distributed team across Europe, and willing to travel as needed.
