• The role of Program Specialist (PS) within the Quality Talent Pipeline team involves coordinating facility-level placements for (1) students in nursing or technician programs seeking internships and (2) global nurses.
• This position is tasked with supporting students throughout their internship experiences while reporting key findings and metrics.
• The PS will collaborate with stakeholders to build and sustain a pipeline of candidates, continually enhance processes, and effectively utilize systems and technology.
• This individual will cultivate strong relationships with school partners and local DaVita team members to bring Talent Partnership programs to fruition.
• Achieving success in this role necessitates a proactive, results-oriented mindset, strong accountability for metrics, initiative, and the capacity to independently foster relationships that increase intern volume and convert interns into hires.
• Adhere to the established process for placing student interns and global nurses in a designated market on a monthly basis.
• Directly coordinate with Facility Administrators, Regional Operations Directors, and Talent Acquisition Leaders to identify placement barriers and devise solutions.
• Collaborate with local school administrators to facilitate the execution of new Student Training Agreements and promote additional student internship applications.
• Maintain regular and clear communication with field and school stakeholders, including scheduling and leading calls and sending follow-up emails.
• Report placement barriers to managers and propose solution-oriented ideas to enhance market performance.
• Proactively address issues when processes falter and partner with managers to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Utilize data to assess program performance and inform strategy within the market.
• 2–4 years of overall work experience, accompanied by a high school diploma or GED.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to leverage data for performance analysis and issue resolution.
• Communication: Ability to effectively convey information, both written and verbally, to senior-level audiences and external stakeholders.
• Relationship Management: Skill in building trust, fostering collaboration, and inspiring change across various teams.
• Time Management and Prioritization: Proficiency in identifying and prioritizing work tasks to consistently meet deadlines.
• Ownership and Initiative: Capability to independently establish and achieve goals across multiple programs.
