This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.
• Take charge of initial sourcing efforts for a designated specialty area, developing and sustaining a reliable pipeline of qualified and engaged candidates.
• Collaborate closely with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and/or Talent Advisor responsible for full-cycle recruiting in that specialty to comprehend hiring priorities, role specifics, and target profiles.
• Perform market analysis and research on passive candidates pertinent to the specialty area's talent pools, competitors, and required skill sets.
• Conduct the initial phase of candidate qualification (resume evaluation, basic screenings) before transferring to the Specialist/Advisor for complete cycle progression.
• Function as a shared sourcing resource across all business roles, providing support to other specialty areas during peak times, backfills, or urgent searches.
• Create and manage job postings/advertisements while ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Develop and sustain talent communities/pipelines within the ATS/CRM (e.g., Workday, Phenom) for both present and future hiring needs.
• Represent the organization at job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other branding/recruiting functions as required.
• Serve as the sourcing layer that empowers Talent Advisors and Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialists to concentrate on strategic partnerships, candidate guidance, and offer/close processes.
• Regularly communicate pipeline status, sourcing metrics, and market insights to the Specialist/Advisor and the broader Talent Acquisition team.
• Work in collaboration with HR and hiring teams to ensure sourcing strategies are in alignment with business objectives, diversity goals, and workforce planning.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws, OFCCP/EEO requirements, and internal policies throughout the sourcing process.
• Maintain precise documentation of sourcing activities, candidate statuses, and source-of-hire data within the ATS.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives aimed at improving sourcing processes and talent acquisition strategies.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or a related talent acquisition support role.
• An Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong sourcing capabilities (Boolean search, passive candidate outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM/ATS tools).
• Experience with Workday HCM or similar ATS/CRM is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; comfortable working with more senior recruiters and advisors.
• Ability to juggle multiple sourcing pipelines/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with employment law and best practices for recruiting compliance.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training or recruiting events.
