This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take full ownership of the entire recruitment cycle, which includes:
• Crafting job descriptions and designing job postings to effectively attract candidates
• Posting job advertisements
• Sourcing, recruiting, and headhunting potential candidates
• Reviewing resumes and shortlisting candidates for the video prescreening process
• Conducting video prescreens and forwarding suitable resumes to hiring managers
• Engaging in the interview process, evaluating candidate suitability, and making recommendations for pursuing candidates
• Assessing candidates’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, aptitudes, and cultural fit with our values
• Conducting debriefs with hiring managers and driving recruitment efforts to fill positions within specified timeframes
• Accurately preparing offer letters and welcome documents
• Maintaining regular communication with hiring managers
• Collaborating closely with hiring managers to devise recruitment strategies for each role
• Providing regular recruitment updates to hiring managers
• Discovering new and innovative methods for talent recruitment
• Monitoring and implementing recruiting best practices
• Acting as a point of contact and fostering candidate relationships throughout the selection process
• Promoting VC3 as an employer of choice
• Performing additional duties as needed
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience as a Recruiter
• Strong proficiency in AI tools, LinkedIn, Indeed, Applicant Tracking Systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to change, independent, and highly self-motivated
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including active listening and a clear, open communication style. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while driving results.
