This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Take ownership of the complete recruitment cycle for both technical and non-technical positions — from initial intake and sourcing to extending offers and closing candidates — while applying Sezzle’s MEI (Merit, Excellence, Intelligence) philosophy to every hire.
• Design and continually enhance talent acquisition processes, frameworks, and tools — focusing on driving efficiency and quality of hire, rather than merely speed of filling positions.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce requirements, develop proactive talent pipelines, and serve as a trusted advisor — rather than just an order-taker.
• Ensure a consistently outstanding, human-centered candidate experience throughout the hiring process — our treatment of candidates reflects our treatment of customers.
• Stay informed about market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability within Turkey’s technology and fintech sectors.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Over 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, with significant experience in leading or developing recruiting teams in a fast-paced tech or fintech environment.
• A proven history of recruiting for highly technical roles in IT (including software engineers, data specialists, infrastructure, product management, and more).
• A demonstrated ability to build or significantly enhance a recruiting function — not merely operate within one.
• Proficient in modern sourcing techniques, ATS platforms, and recruiting analytics; you rely on data to inform decisions rather than just for reporting purposes.
• Advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal) with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in Turkish; solid understanding of Turkish labor laws and local hiring practices.
• Proven experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
