This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.
• Take full responsibility for the comprehensive recruiting function at UMass Global, which includes requisition intake, oversight of job postings, sourcing strategies, applicant evaluation, interview coordination, offer development, and managing the candidate experience.
• Act as the primary recruiter, handling an average of 20-25 requisitions.
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to review role requirements, timelines, and candidate evaluation methods.
• Review applications and screen candidates to evaluate their qualifications, experience, and fit for the position; present qualified candidates and recommendations to hiring managers.
• Suggest offer amounts for new hires within the established hiring range; seek approval for offers and communicate the University's compensation and benefits package to candidates.
• Enhance and manage the candidate experience throughout the entire hiring lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and maintaining high standards of responsiveness and professionalism.
• Report recruiting metrics to relevant stakeholders, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline conversion, offer acceptance rates, and diversity-related metrics.
• Utilize professional social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, to proactively source candidates, develop talent pipelines, and promote job openings and the UMass Global employer brand.
• Collaborate with University Marketing to develop and coordinate recruiting-related content on institutional social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), ensuring consistent messaging and proper branding for open positions and hiring initiatives.
• Oversee pre-employment onboarding tasks including initiating background checks and coordinating orientation with HR Operations to finalize the hiring process.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a substantial emphasis on full-cycle talent acquisition and recruiting operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong preference for candidates with higher education recruiting experience.
• Proven experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with a preference for Workday experience.
• Preferred experience with AI-based recruiting tools, talent intelligence platforms, or workflow automation tools to support recruiting operations.
