This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for Admissions and Student Services positions, from the initial requisition to the final-round interview handoff.
• Identify candidates via Lever, LinkedIn, job boards, and partnerships with universities and communities, focusing particularly on those with experience in higher education, call-center/inside sales, or student-facing coaching roles.
• Review resumes and carry out phone/video interviews based on role-specific criteria established by hiring managers.
• Maintain up-to-date Lever pipelines, ensuring accurate tracking of stages, notes, and candidate statuses so that hiring managers and People Ops are always informed of progress.
• Compose and distribute candidate communications (screening invitations, rejections, status updates) using PKH's established templates and tone of voice.
• Collaborate with hiring managers (such as the Admissions Services Manager and Student Success leadership) regarding role specifications and conduct regular pipeline check-ins.
• Proactively identify pipeline health concerns, such as slow-moving requisitions, limited applicant pools, or gaps in diversity and representation, and communicate these to People Ops.
• Assist with light employer branding tasks, including updating job descriptions, posting on relevant job boards, and monitoring the applicant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting or sourcing experience; agency, in-house, or high-volume hiring backgrounds are all appreciated.
• Comfortable utilizing an ATS (experience with Lever is advantageous but not mandatory).
• Prior experience recruiting for admissions, enrollment, call-center, sales, or coaching/advising roles is highly beneficial, as it provides insight into what drives success in a high-touch, metrics-focused, relationship-oriented role.
• Excellent written communication skills — capable of crafting candidate emails that feel personal rather than generic.
• Adept at managing multiple open requisitions and adapting to changing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with the nonprofit or higher education OPM sector is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, maintain focus, communicate effectively, interact with others, manage several tasks simultaneously, and handle stressful situations and deadlines.
• Capability to perform sedentary administrative tasks.
• Flexible work arrangements.
