Takeoff & Estimating Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate commercial construction plans and blueprints.

• Conduct mechanical takeoffs and quantity assessments.

• Identify and inventory HVAC units, equipment, and associated mechanical components.

• Compile precise equipment counts for manufacturers to create quotes.

• Aid in the preparation and organization of project estimates.

• Assist with the quoting process and familiarize yourself with company-specific estimating practices.

• Execute general administrative and data entry tasks utilizing Microsoft Excel.

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with mechanical takeoffs or construction estimating.

• Proficiency in using PlanSwift.

• Capability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings.

• Knowledge of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Willingness to learn company-specific estimating and quoting methods.

• Dependable, accurate, and capable of working independently.
