SyteLine Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the installation, configuration, and upkeep of Infor CloudSuite Industrial ERP (SyteLine, Factory Track, and Infor OS) for both current and prospective clients.

• Conduct upgrades from earlier versions of SyteLine to SyteLine V10 for both on-premise and cloud-based clients.

• Install, configure, and maintain SyteLine ERP software along with additional applications for clients, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards.

• Implement software upgrade processes to transition from older versions of SyteLine and Factory Track to the latest versions.

• Set up Microsoft SQL Server.

• Carry out post-provisioning in the cloud and coordinate database transfer tasks with the Infor cloud team.

• Configure and set up users, printers, and devices on SyteLine and Factory Track.

• Provide training and continuous support to clients for system administration, configuration, best practices, and resolution of technical issues.

• Diagnose and resolve problems with applications and systems.

• Assist in performing backups and configuring database refreshes on-premise.

• Execute SQL performance tuning and optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience supporting Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) versions 6-10.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an Associate’s degree with equivalent certifications and experience.

• More than 5 years of practical experience with Infor SyteLine and Factory Track installations, upgrades, configurations of Infor OS, and delivering technical support.

• Comprehensive understanding of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine, Factory Track, and Infor OS) architecture and third-party vendor solutions.

• Familiarity with Windows Servers, workstations, server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Citrix, Azure, AWS, and various software applications.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.

• Must demonstrate a client service orientation and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Capability to perform SQL Server installations and configurations.

• Proficient in T-SQL.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Eager to stay updated with the latest technology trends.

• Experience in agile or collaborative work environments is an advantage.
