This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Propel revenue growth by acting as the technical authority on the Veeam Data Cloud platform, advancing deals through securing the technical decision on opportunities exceeding $100K ARR and providing guidance on smaller projects.
• Present in-depth technical information and customized product demonstrations to clients, showcasing essential functionalities in AI, ML, DSPM, and Microsoft workloads such as M365, EntraID, and Planner.
• Partner with sales teams to assess customer requirements, design solutions that meet customer goals and industry standards, and formulate persuasive solution proposals.
• Create and implement Proof of Concept tests to assess the effectiveness and appropriateness of Veeam solutions within customer settings.
• Generate and update technical documentation which includes solution briefs, whitepapers, and best practices concerning restore orchestration and backup policy formulation.
• Represent the customer's perspective by maintaining consistent communication with Veeam product teams to highlight feature gaps, enhancement possibilities, and critical technical challenges from losses.
• Provide training to clients, partners, and Veeam sales teams regarding Veeam Data Cloud and best practices in data protection, while supporting continuous knowledge sharing throughout the global field sales organization.
• Be willing to travel at least 30% of the time.
• Over 10 years of experience in software sales, technical pre-sales, or solution engineering, with a preference for direct experience in selling or supporting core Microsoft workloads or data protection solutions related to these technologies.
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365 and data protection needs across Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and EntraID.
• Familiarity with DSPM solutions such as Microsoft Purview, including practical knowledge on how organizations identify, monitor, and safeguard sensitive data.
• Profound expertise in cloud security standards, Azure services, and M365 APIs.
• Technical proficiency in backup and recovery procedures and requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional written and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, with the capability to simplify complex ideas and quickly establish rapport with customers, partners, and sales teams.
