This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the technical foundation of the lifecycle marketing operations team, overseeing platform administration and daily execution across marketing technology systems.
• Administer and manage Hightouch as the main reverse ETL platform — including overseeing parent models, creating and updating audience syncs, reviewing and approving sync requests, and ensuring sync health across various destinations.
• Act as the primary support for martech system issues, triaging problems, diagnosing root causes, and either resolving them directly or escalating them with clear context to the engineering team.
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to assist in technical implementations — translating requirements between stakeholders, coordinating handoffs, and facilitating the completion of tasks.
• Monitor sync performance and pipeline integrity, proactively identifying failures, data inconsistencies, or configuration drift before they affect campaigns.
• Maintain and document platform configurations, data models, and operational processes, ensuring the team has dependable references as systems evolve.
• Manage access, permissions, and governance across marketing technology platforms, ensuring configurations remain clean and auditable.
• Assist with audience segmentation and data hygiene tasks in collaboration with Data and Lifecycle teams.
• Support quality assurance and testing for new integrations, campaign launches, and platform changes, helping to identify issues before they reach production.
• Identify and highlight operational inefficiencies, contributing ideas for process enhancement and automation opportunities.
• Participate in our team’s growth by developing solutions with AI.
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing technology, or a similar technical role.
• Practical experience with reverse ETL or data activation platforms — proficiency in Hightouch or comparable tools (Census, ActionIQ, etc.) is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working directly with data and audiences in a warehouse-connected environment (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar).
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills — capable of reading, modifying, and troubleshooting queries without needing to construct complex models from the ground up.
• Strong systems thinker who can trace data flow end-to-end and pinpoint breakdowns.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical context to both engineering and marketing audiences — skilled in translation.
• Detail-oriented with a proven history of identifying issues before they escalate into incidents.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (Iterable, Braze, Marketo, or similar).
• Familiarity with event streaming concepts (how data transitions from product events into marketing platforms) is a plus.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift, and ambiguity is a part of the role.
• Bonus: Proven ability to create solutions using AI applications like Claude.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactively manage tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyze and execute work efficiently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrive in fast-paced, results-driven settings.
• Excellent health care options (including a comprehensive range of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and fertility benefits).
• Options for disability and life insurance.
• 401(k) and RRSP matching.
• Paid parental leave.
• 20 days of paid time off annually, 12 paid holidays per year, two floating holidays per year, and flexible sick leave.
• Generous stipends for caregiving, pet care, wellness, home office needs, and more.
• Annual professional development budget and opportunities.
