Systems Integration Engineer – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the smooth integration and continuous support of accounting functions for new partner organizations within STP’s expanding portfolio.

• Implement the 'Shield playbook' to guarantee consistency, operational excellence, and alignment of systems across acquisitions.

• Lead significant integration projects and enhance accounting processes.

• Establish financial controls for both new and existing partner businesses.

• Build and oversee a team dedicated to accounting integration and the long-term success of partners.

• Design, develop, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve NetSuite integrations and system workflows.

• Configure and manage NetSuite modules related to billing, invoicing, and purchasing.

• Oversee user roles, permissions, and internal controls.

• Manage release updates as well as API and feature compliance.

• Assist with data migration and transformation during the onboarding of partners.

• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Create workflows for recurring billing, purchase-order automation, and reconciliation.

• Act as a liaison among accounting, systems, and MSP partner teams.

• Provide documentation, training, and walkthroughs for finance and operations personnel.

• Coordinate integration testing and deployment with teams based in the U.S. and India.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of combined experience in NetSuite administration and the integration of accounting systems.

• Demonstrated experience in developing SuiteScript 2.0 and SuiteFlow automations.

• Previous exposure to accounting operations, including billing, invoicing, and purchasing.

• In-depth technical knowledge of NetSuite ERP.

• Proficient in JavaScript.

• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.

• Experience in data migration, transformation, and reconciliation.

• Strong project management skills and a disciplined approach to documentation.

• Capable of effective communication between technical and accounting teams.
