Solutions Consultant – Warehouse Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive solution design process for AutoStore initiatives.

• Convert customer needs into validated solutions through operational analysis, material flow modeling, simulations, 3D visualizations, and customer presentations.

• Cultivate expertise in AutoStore technology, products, and integration methodologies.

• Leverage warehouse and logistics knowledge to create solutions that meet customer requirements.

• Assist in strategic and enterprise opportunities with validated concepts, rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, and return on investment (ROI) input.

• Serve as a technical consultant throughout the sales process.

• Educate and empower customers and partners via training, technical support, product updates, and best-practice recommendations.

• Travel within the APAC region as needed for customer, partner, and internal interactions.

• Collaborate across various time zones.

• Work closely with Commercial, Product, R&D, Worldwide Solutions, and regional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in solution design, technical consulting, warehouse automation, intralogistics, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Excellent analytical abilities.

• Skill in converting operational data and customer needs into scalable and commercially feasible solutions.

• Experience in crafting customer-facing solution proposals utilizing simulations, visual representations, cost assessments, and structured technical documentation.

• Strong commercial insight.

• Background in supporting commercial teams and strategic customer initiatives throughout the sales process.

• Familiarity with warehouse and logistics operations.

• Experience, ideally, with ASRS, material flow, sorting, packaging, or related technologies.

• A collaborative and customer-oriented mindset.

• Comfortable collaborating with regional teams and providing training and technical support to partners and stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel within the APAC region as necessary.

• Adaptability to work across different time zones.
