This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Serve as a reliable advisor for our clients by collecting requirements, assessing opportunities, and designing effective solutions.
β’ Partner with Arista Account Managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of both enterprise and commercial customers.
β’ Develop architectural designs aimed at enhancing network performance, efficiency, and customer total cost of ownership (TCO).
β’ Present Arista's networking solutions through informative product demonstrations.
β’ Leverage expertise in network design and implementation to formulate scalable network solutions.
β’ Collaborate with clients and proof-of-concept teams to confirm the validity of network designs and their deployments.
β’ Work alongside the sales team to address RFP/RFQs and provide constructive feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
β’ Write and contribute to customer-facing documents that emphasize Arista technology and products.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in L2/L3 networking design and implementation, with a focus on Campus and Wi-Fi solutions.
β’ Advanced experience with routing and switching, including .1x and NAC integrations, as well as familiarity with POE Overlay technologies (such as EVPN/VxLAN) is advantageous.
β’ Current hands-on experience in designing campus and leaf-spine network architectures.
β’ Prior work experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineer is preferred.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, .1x, and QoS.
β’ Solid understanding of the competitive technology landscape, particularly regarding Cisco and Juniper.
β’ Expert-level familiarity with the industry-standard Command Line Interface (CLI).
β’ Previous experience in network automation using Python and Ansible is highly desired.
β’ Strong writing skills with the ability to produce informative white papers on technology and products is highly desirable.
