This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Act as an enterprise-level technical expert for the modeling, simulation, and analysis of missile and interceptor systems.
• Establish and guide the enterprise-level MS&A strategy, incorporating digital engineering and model-based methodologies across various programs and product lines.
• Oversee cross-program mission engineering and campaign-level operational analyses to inform capability roadmaps and investment choices.
• Deliver independent technical evaluations, red/blue team assessments, and risk analyses of architectures, requirements, and operational concepts.
• Represent the organization as a technical authority during customer interactions, gate reviews, and external technical discussions.
• Influence customer requirements and CONOPS through insights grounded in analysis.
• Propel innovation in MS&A tools, frameworks, and methodologies, including advanced visualization, real-time simulation, and digital twin applications.
• Sponsor and manage collaborations with government laboratories, universities, the industry, and various disciplines.
• Develop and maintain MS&A communities of practice, standards, and training initiatives.
• Mentor multiple teams and create succession plans for technical leadership roles.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 16 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 14 years; or a Ph.D. with 12 years.
• Recognized expertise in mission-level operations analysis, campaign-level modeling, and system-of-systems simulation.
• Proven impact on enterprise-level or portfolio-level decisions through MS&A.
• Extensive background in providing independent technical evaluations and representing programs in customer technical reviews and high-level leadership briefings.
• Demonstrated capability to lead and mentor multiple teams, establish standards and best practices, and promote the adoption of advanced modeling and digital engineering techniques.
• Strong communication skills at the executive level, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical decision-makers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret and/or Special Access Program (SAP) access is preferred; active TS/SAP is highly preferred.
• Extensive experience across various domains, including missile/interceptor GNC, RF or EO/IR seeker/sensor modeling, IADS or threat modeling, electronic attack/protection/countermeasures modeling, and survivability, lethality, and vulnerability analysis.
• Acknowledgment as a technical authority through publications, participation in external working groups, or recognition by customers is preferred.
• Experience in defining enterprise-level MS&A strategies, standards, and capability roadmaps for missile and interceptor programs is preferred.
• Proven leadership in developing technical communities of practice, training programs, and long-term MS&A capability enhancement plans is preferred.
