Systems Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design, optimize, and provide support for Microsoft SQL Server solutions utilizing advanced T-SQL, effective database design, and performance evaluation.

• Create and maintain SSRS reports, data imports, transformations, integrations, and SQL Server queries.

• Assist in report development within an established BI environment using SQL Server and MySQL.

• Oversee and improve production applications within a current C#/.NET environment, facilitating integrations among applications, databases, and external systems via API and SFTP.

• Develop Copilot Studio agents and Power Automate workflows that connect Teams, SQL Server, APIs, knowledge sources, and internal systems.

• Implement prompt-engineering and RAG techniques while ensuring proper testing, grounding, access controls, security, and adherence to responsible AI practices.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to convert operational requirements into scalable solutions and clear documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional experience in software, database, application, or data development.

• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, advanced T-SQL, database design, performance optimization, and SSRS.

• Capability to develop and interpret between SQL Server and MySQL.

• Experience in supporting production applications and the ability to read, troubleshoot, and modify an existing codebase.

• Strong fundamentals in software development, including object-oriented programming, application architecture, debugging, and error management.

• Experience in integrating databases and applications, including establishing connections to existing external APIs.

• Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with KingswaySoft is advantageous.

• Experience in healthcare technology or knowledge of HIPAA/PHI is beneficial but not mandatory.
