This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Design and implement solutions for both virtual and physical infrastructures across a range of operating systems.
• Oversee endpoint security for client systems through the deployment of software, installations, patch management, and security tools.
• Administer KACE/Tanium and Workspace One solutions across macOS, Windows, Ubuntu, and possibly mobile operating systems.
• Supervise endpoint security and manage EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike.
• Regulate browser functionality and security utilizing extensions and agents.
• Create custom scripts in PowerShell, Python, and BASH to facilitate software deployment.
• Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Privileged Management (EPM) within a zero-trust framework.
• Produce technical documentation and procedural materials, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), architectural guides, administration manuals, and support guides.
• Manage and troubleshoot virtual machines operating on Windows and Ubuntu.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Client Engineering team to enhance productivity and security while minimizing costs, downtime, and repetitive tasks.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, administration, and UEM systems (KACE, JAMF, SCCM, Workspace One, Intune, etc.).
• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working with EDR and DLP security systems or managing related platforms such as CrowdStrike or Proofpoint.
• Proven experience in writing technical documentation and procedural materials for diverse audiences.
• Practical expertise with Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting and packaging implementation for macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting virtual machines on Windows and Ubuntu.
• Familiarity with KACE/Tanium and Workspace One.
• Demonstrated experience administering EDR solutions, including CrowdStrike.
• Knowledge of browser security extensions and agents.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, and BASH scripting.
• Understanding of DLP and Endpoint Privileged Management (EPM) within a zero-trust model.
