This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Systems Engineering, providing support for hardware and software implementation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Travel to customer sites, testing locations, technology showcases, and other events to deliver on-site technical assistance.
• Support emerging technology events, demonstrations, integration tasks, and technical assessments.
• Offer SME-level technical expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of planning, implementation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Assess existing systems and analyze hardware, software, interfaces, configurations, and dependencies.
• Examine system architectures to identify integration effects, technical risks, and compatibility challenges.
• Integrate hardware and software elements into current system environments.
• Diagnose complex system-level problems involving hardware, operating systems, applications, networks, interfaces, and supporting infrastructure.
• Determine root causes and formulate recommendations for corrective actions.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, integration, and testing of hardware and software systems.
• Evaluate new and emerging technologies for potential integration into existing or future system architectures.
• Support technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept initiatives, prototypes, and experimental systems.
• Engage in system reviews and provide technical advice on configuration, integration strategies, and implementation methods.
• Review system documentation, architecture diagrams, interface information, configuration details, and technical procedures.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in documentation and recommend necessary updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support system implementation, integration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Over 7 years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or a similar technical field.
• Proven experience in integrating complex hardware and software systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting system-level hardware and software integration challenges.
• Experience in reviewing system architectures, configurations, interfaces, and technical documentation.
• Ability to independently assess technical issues and devise practical solutions.
• Experience in supporting system implementation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
• Strong comprehension of hardware, software, operating systems, networks, and their interdependencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel for customer events, demonstrations, testing, and urgent requirements.
• Experience in supporting Department of Defense initiatives or mission-critical systems.
• Background in supporting emerging technology demonstrations, experiments, prototypes, or technology transition efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Must possess or be able to acquire CompTIA Security Plus certification before the start date.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
