This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, conduct stakeholder interviews, lead workshops, process mapping, and perform current-state/future-state analysis.
• Gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage functional, nonfunctional, data, reporting, integration, security, and compliance requirements.
• Convert business needs into process flows, use cases, user stories, system requirements, decision records, and traceability documentation.
• Identify process gaps, control requirements, data dependencies, and organizational impacts; suggest practical solutions that align with enterprise architecture and digital strategy.
• Take ownership of the complete test strategy for assigned initiatives, encompassing system, integration, regression, user acceptance, and production-validation testing.
• Create and maintain test plans, scenarios, test cases, test data, requirements traceability, entry and exit criteria, defect workflows, and test status reporting.
• Coordinate with business testers, technical teams, and vendors; facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Ensure defects are prioritized, resolved, retested, and documented appropriately.
• Evaluate solution quality and release risks; provide recommendations for readiness.
• Confirm that acceptance criteria and business outcomes have been satisfied prior to deployment.
• Propel enhancements in testing processes and appropriate automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be taken into account.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, business analysis, digital product delivery, quality assurance, software testing, or enterprise technology implementation.
• Proven experience in product owner responsibilities, including backlog management, prioritization, user-story development, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder decision-making.
• Experience in conducting business analysis across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficient in planning and leading system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Strong grasp of system architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, web-based applications, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Lean, hybrid, and/or traditional software delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, HP ALM/Quality Center, or similar product, requirements, and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, process design, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance strategic product goals with detailed requirements, delivery constraints, and quality expectations.
• Capability to comprehend complex business processes and convert them into scalable digital solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, global environment.
