Systems Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete technical solution from start to finish.

• Design and uphold the entire solution architecture.

• Manage cost estimation for Systems Engineering labor and Project Material/BOM.

• Act as the main technical contact for clients.

• Develop the physical design layer.

• Establish the technical direction and standards for team delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.

• Over 10 years of professional experience, particularly with a focus on IT and networking.

• At least 5 years of experience in implementing technical solutions, with a solid foundation in systems engineering.

• More than 4 years of experience and expertise in two or more of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, software, database, networking, or security engineering.

• CCNA, CCNP, or another networking certification (our networking environment utilizes Cisco).

• Knowledge and experience in requirements engineering.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions with clients, make informed technical choices, and facilitate successful cross-functional teamwork.

• Capable of creating and delivering technical presentations while effectively engaging and managing client relationships.

• A blend of curiosity, ownership, and a hands-on approach, balanced with effective team collaboration.
