Systems Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute advanced configuration, deployment, and implementation of software, operating systems, cloud platforms, and hardware according to design specifications and industry best practices across various technology domains.

• Act as the Senior Professional Services Engineer throughout project lifecycles, collaborating with Project Managers on project planning, execution, and delivery.

• Assist in pre-sales initiatives by contributing to the design and peer review of enterprise-level technology solutions that encompass cloud, on-premises, colocation, and hosted environments.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support, ensuring prompt diagnosis, resolution, documentation, and communication of issues to leadership and stakeholders.

• Create high-quality technical documentation, including runbooks, as-built documentation, diagrams, cutover and rollback plans, validation plans, and standard operating procedures.

• Mentor and guide team members while closely collaborating with support teams, project teams, and management to achieve high-quality outcomes.

• Conduct end-user training and offer professional, customer-oriented support remotely.

• Maintain accurate time entries, ticket documentation, and ensure compliance with company standards.

• Effectively manage workload, support after-hours project or incident requirements, and assist the Client Success Team with technology roadmaps to guarantee long-term client success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Professional Services within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

• Capability to utilize Professional Services experience to collaborate with cross-functional teams, aligning proposed solutions with client needs and the implementation of best practices.

• Proficient in delivering impactful client-facing presentations, solution demonstrations, and executive-level briefings that effectively convey business value.

• Skilled in developing detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), encompassing project scope, deliverables, assumptions, timelines, and resource requirements.

• Experienced in leading client-facing pre-sales discovery sessions, partnering with stakeholders to identify business objectives, define technical requirements, and establish clear project success criteria while providing strategic consulting and trusted advisory support.

• Capable of professionally interacting in various situations, including customer service, orientations, training, and networking, both onsite and remotely.

• Strong English communication skills are essential for professional interaction with clients and executives.

• Proficient in developing, deploying, and/or troubleshooting complex infrastructure implementations both on-premises and in the cloud, adhering to budget and schedule, and project-based best practices.

• Experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is mandatory.

• Familiarity with ConnectWise or another PSA tool is required.
