This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Restructure source control repositories into organized Development, UAT, and Production environments.
• Design, enhance, and sustain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release approvals, and rollback processes.
• Strategize and implement production deployments alongside coordinated infrastructure modifications.
• Manage Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, VMware environments, storage solutions, backups, and verify restore operations.
• Set up and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, routing, VLANs, DNS, certificates, and reverse proxies.
• Provide support for Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and identity management systems.
• Collaborate with SQL Server and PostgreSQL on deployments, schema modifications, integrations, reporting, and ETL tasks.
• Enhance internal automation tools utilizing Python and PowerShell.
• Create comprehensive documentation and operational runbooks.
• Assess AI-assisted code and deployment modifications prior to production rollout.
• Update undocumented production environments across development, infrastructure, networking, databases, automation, documentation, and production operations.
• 3–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• 1–2 years of practical software development experience involving deployment and database management.
• Proficient understanding of web applications, Windows Server, Linux administration, networking principles, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and at least one CI/CD platform.
• Ability to script using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Security-conscious mindset.
• Exceptional written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to independently learn new technologies.
• Preferred: Experience with VMware or Hyper-V administration.
• Preferred: Knowledge of enterprise backup platforms and restoration processes.
• Preferred: Administration experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Preferred: Administration of next-generation firewalls.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep.
• Preferred: Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Preferred: Experience in modernizing undocumented production environments.
