Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to secure and grow business with both new and existing end-user customers, as well as Cloud and Hosting Providers.

• Conduct web-based and on-site demonstrations of the Veeam product portfolio, providing training, enablement, and participating in collaborative meetings.

• Provide pre-sales support and on-site assistance to customers during their evaluation of Veeam software.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic alliance partners in conjunction with sales colleagues.

• Contribute to and engage in Veeam marketing events.

• Conduct Product Proof of Concepts (POCs) for customers.

• Prepare Bills of Materials (B.O.M), RFPs/RFQs tailored to customer requirements.

• Showcase new technologies and deliver training to both internal staff and customers.

• Proactively identify and qualify business opportunities.

• Provide technical compliance and competitive analysis of products within the solution.

• Coordinate presales efforts with customers, collaborating with Veeam Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services personnel.


⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to engage in business discussions with relevant stakeholders, including C-Level executives.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a System Engineer role or other technical position.

• Willingness to advise customers on their future business strategies and ensure a positive customer experience for assigned accounts.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Polish.

• Competence in presenting to groups, both remotely and in-person.

• Practical experience with Hypervisors and Cloud environments.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% throughout Poland.

• Knowledge of VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat, and Microsoft virtualization technologies.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS; ability to discuss and position Cloud technologies effectively.

• Strong customer engagement skills, including requirements gathering and assessment of existing infrastructure to design the appropriate solution.

• A self-starter attitude with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in customer-facing situations.
