This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deploy, configure, and oversee both physical and virtual systems, including servers, endpoints, and cloud resources across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), and associated identity and collaboration services.
• Maintain Windows Server environments, encompassing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows while minimizing operational disruptions.
• Design, maintain, and resolve issues within LAN/WAN, wireless, and VPN environments; configure firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
• Uphold security best practices across systems and networks; apply the principle of least privilege and actively monitor for anomalies.
• Support compliance initiatives by keeping accurate system records and aiding in audit activities.
• Act as a Tier 2 escalation point—diagnosing and resolving complex incidents, managing issues until resolution, and communicating status effectively.
• Facilitate user onboarding to new systems and tools; develop training materials and SOPs to promote self-service and lessen repeat incidents.
• Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and senior leadership to define and deliver technology initiatives punctually.
• Manage vendor relationships and liaise with third-party providers to ensure service quality and adherence to SLA.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure critical system availability: respond to after-hours alerts and incidents according to defined SLA and escalation protocols.
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or advanced helpdesk roles within a virtualized, enterprise setting.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID administration.
• Experience in administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance, application deployment, and policy enforcement.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, Active Directory, and Windows Server.
• Established understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting status to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• Heightened sense of urgency and determination.
• Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to root-cause analysis.
