Senior System Engineer – Linux

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Daily support and upkeep of various platforms and services

• Maintenance of Linux systems

• Management of system lifecycles

• Oversight of configuration management

• Automation of systems and processes

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux distributions such as RHEL, OL, and Ubuntu

• Proficiency in shell scripting and at least one additional programming language (preferably Python)

• Experience using Ansible for system and process management

• Skills in reverse engineering systems and platforms

• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack, KVM, libvirt, qemu)

• Familiarity with observability stacks, including: - Monitoring (Icinga, Grafana stack, Nagios, Zabbix) - Logging (OpenSearch, Grafana stack, NXLog, GrayLog) - Metrics and Traces

• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation

• Experience in using, configuring, and maintaining automation platforms (preferably AAP/AWX)

• Basic understanding of networking

• Knowledge of system firewalls

• Familiarity with storage solutions
