This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical point of contact for the client, addressing operational inquiries, support requirements, and system challenges.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, servers, workstations, networks, communications, and applications.

• Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and provide support for client systems and both cloud and on-premises infrastructures.

• Oversee system backups, recovery operations, security measures, and performance monitoring.

• Track, triage, escalate, and resolve issues in accordance with client-specific SLA standards.

• Educate operations personnel on Q-Free platforms, products, features, and updates.

• Record system architecture, configurations, troubleshooting methods, installations, modifications, and changes.

• Organize client meetings and manage change control processes, including preparing and presenting change proposals.

• Work collaboratively with project managers, database administrators, software engineers, quality assurance teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.

• Recognize opportunities for system enhancements and suggest upgrades that align with technical standards, reliability, and client success.

• Engage in cross-training and provide on-call support during non-business hours as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, systems administration, technical support, or infrastructure support.

• Proficient technical troubleshooting abilities across hardware, software, networking, servers, workstations, applications, and communications platforms.

• Experience in supporting 24/7/365 operational environments and addressing production-impacting issues.

• Familiarity with server operating systems, network configurations, system topologies, remote access tools, and database administration concepts.

• Capable of communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal project teams.

• Strong customer service orientation with a positive, adaptable, self-motivated, and solution-focused attitude.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional skills in technical documentation, training, organization, and attention to detail.

• Experience with reporting applications and communications platforms such as twisted pair, cellular, or fiber is advantageous.
