This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main technical resource for support and resolution of customer issues related to the Traffic Management System.
• Address support requests via the ticketing system and support hotline.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, communication, and network challenges associated with traffic management platforms and ITS devices.
• Set up and maintain traffic signals, PTZ cameras, Dynamic Message Signs, traffic detectors, and other ITS technologies.
• Oversee incident management in accordance with client-specific SLAs, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Provide training to agency staff on Q-Free systems, products, and software functionalities.
• Document system architecture, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Assist with system backups, disaster recovery, and infrastructure upkeep.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Software Engineers, QA teams, Database Administrators, and customer stakeholders.
• Engage in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 transportation operations.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and suggest technical solutions to improve system performance and dependability.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience in supporting ITS technologies, traffic signals, traffic management systems, or similar transportation technologies.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux server environments, networking concepts, and system administration.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, communication, and network issues.
• Experience with VPNs, remote access tools, and database management.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
• Proficiency with Jasper Reports, TMDD, GraphQL, SOAP, or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, configuration management, and change control processes.
• Experience supporting complex, mission-critical environments operating 24/7/365.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
