Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Support and uphold Linux-based infrastructure environments.

• Assist with virtualization platforms, server upkeep, patching tasks, and monitoring activities.

• Gain practical experience in production Kubernetes environments, aiding cluster operations.

• Contribute to automation efforts by developing and maintaining scripts.

• Aid in troubleshooting network and infrastructure challenges, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Networking, and Engineering teams to facilitate operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, Production Operations, or a related field.

• Strong foundation in Linux, with knowledge of virtualization technologies.

• Basic understanding of networking principles, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.

• Eagerness to learn swiftly, independently solve problems, and develop new technical skills.

• Familiarity with containerization, such as Docker.

• Experience in scripting or automation using Python or similar languages is a plus.

• Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Organized, reliable, and comfortable supporting production environments.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
