Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective during the pre-sales phase.

• Serve as the primary technical resource during sales calls, addressing customer inquiries and educating them on aspects such as features, specifications, functionality, and integration.

• Knowledgeable about networking applications and solutions.

• Act as the principal technical contact for designated accounts post-sales, collaborating closely with the technical support team and engineering to address, escalate, and resolve technical issues for customers.

• Assist in identifying customers who require post-sales training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in field sales.

• Background in technical or pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.

• Proficiency in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.

• Familiarity with wireless technologies, including deployment, support, and conducting site surveys.

• Strong understanding of wireless authentication technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.

• Expertise in technologies such as routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of protocols and technologies including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewalls, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.

• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies is essential.

• Relevant certifications: CCIE, CISSP.
