Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.

📋 Description

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective during the pre-sales phase.

• Serve as the primary technical resource during sales calls, educating customers on aspects such as features, specifications, functionality, and integration.

• Be knowledgeable about networking applications and solutions.

• Act as the lead technical contact for designated accounts following sales, collaborating closely with the technical support team and engineering to address, escalate, and resolve customers' technical concerns.

• Provide post-sales training assistance to designated customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in field sales.

• Background in technical or pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.

• Proficiency in administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.

• Familiarity with wireless technologies, including deployment, support, and site surveys.

• Strong understanding of wireless authentication technologies.

• Excellent knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.

• Awareness of technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus.

• In-depth understanding of protocols and technologies like RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.

• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies is essential.

• Relevant certifications: CCIE, CISSP.

• Must be located in Guatemala.
