Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Oversee all technical components of the sales process with customers, starting from initial RFIs to RFPs and RFQs as necessary. This encompasses project management and active engagement in POCs in collaboration with relevant internal teams as well as the customer and/or commercial partner.

• Possess the capability to listen and comprehend the technical needs of the customer, extracting insights to develop a solution that surpasses competitor offerings.

• Act as the main technical liaison for the customer(s) and partners, working closely with your sales counterpart.

• Consistently seek to enhance your knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while maintaining a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and Fortinet’s capacity to deliver enduring protection against evolving threats.

• Exhibit a strong ability to present Fortinet solutions to customers, whether remotely or in person. This necessitates excellent communication skills and the confidence to present using whiteboarding, technical white papers, technical plans, or during customer discussions.

• Effectively manage your time while handling multiple deals simultaneously, ensuring a positive experience for the customer is upheld.

• Keep precise records of activities, contacts, and technical information for all customers and prospects in our CRM (Salesforce).


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrate a high aptitude for security technology, particularly in encryption and authentication, with additional knowledge in network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN being advantageous. CISSP accreditation would also be a plus.

• Currently hold or have previously held a pre-sales engineer position, managing all technical aspects of deals through to successful technical closure.

• Showcase your problem-solving abilities and how these skills have contributed to significant wins within your current organization.

• Understand and illustrate your capacity to establish and maintain customer relationships, including the ability to effectively communicate technical details to various external and internal stakeholders.

• Possess a solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
