Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with a sales representative within a designated territory.

• Assist the sales team with technical inquiries during pre-sales, sales discussions, and post-sales follow-ups.

• Assess sales leads from a technical perspective.

• Act as the primary technical resource during sales meetings.

• Respond to and educate customers regarding features, specifications, functionality, and integration details.

• Function as the lead technical contact for designated accounts concerning technical matters.

• Work in conjunction with technical support and engineering teams to address, escalate, and resolve customer technical challenges.

• Deliver post-sales training to designated customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in field sales.

• Background in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.

• Proficiency in administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.

• Experience in deploying and supporting wireless technologies and conducting site assessments.

• Strong knowledge of wireless authentication technologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP protocols.

• Familiarity with routing, switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, intrusion detection, and antivirus solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPsec, firewalls, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.

• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.

• Possession of CCIE and CISSP certifications.

• Bachelor's degree (as specified in the structured job data).
