Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Support pre-sales activities by qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.

• Serve as the primary technical expert during sales calls, providing education to customers on various topics including features, specifications, functionalities, and integration.

• Familiarity with networking applications and solutions is essential.

• Act as the principal technical contact for designated accounts post-sales, addressing technical issues and collaborating closely with the technical support team and engineering to resolve customer challenges.

• Offer training assistance to selected customers after the sales process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in field sales.

• Background in technical or pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.

• Proficient in administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.

• Experience with Wireless technologies including deployment, support, and conducting site surveys.

• Strong grasp of Wireless Authentication technologies.

• Exceptional knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.

• Familiarity with technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus solutions.

• Comprehensive understanding of specific technologies and protocols including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.

• Required experience with encryption and authentication technologies.

• Relevant certifications: CCIE, CISSP.
