This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Installation, support, and maintenance of the server hardware and software infrastructure.

• Management of database systems (MariaDB & ClickHouse) and web servers (Nginx).

• Monitoring server and network utilization.

• Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient utilization of resources.

• Planning and executing future deployments.

• Availability for critical infrastructure situations on a 24/7 basis is required.

• Contributing to team process enhancements while adhering to industry best practices and principles.

• Engaging in team knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Extensive experience with Linux (preferably RedHat) and a strong appreciation for open-source software.

• Advanced understanding of web servers utilizing PHP.

• Experience in MariaDB administration.

• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet).

• Experience with caching systems (Redis, Memcached, CouchBase).

• Exposure to Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and associated management tools (JIRA, Confluence).

• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
