Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical support, guidance, and hands-on implementation alongside DLA application teams.

• Strategize, execute, and incorporate Identity and Credential Access Management (ICAM) standards into DLA enterprise systems and applications.

• Engage in technical research and development to foster ongoing infrastructure innovation.

• Ensure that application and system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and associated procedures comply with ICAM standards.

• Record specifications, project plans, configurations, testing plans, and outcomes.

• Articulate complex concepts, challenges, and designs to diverse audiences.

• Convey project objectives, scope, and status to project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the engineering sector.

• At least five (5) years of experience in implementing and integrating Identity and Access Management (IDAM/ICAM) solutions.

• DoD Approved 8140 Baseline Certification for Category IAT Level II.

• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

• Level 1 Non-Sensitive (Low Risk) Tier 1 clearance required before onboarding.

• Secret Security clearance must be obtained upon hiring.

• IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) clearance must be secured before onboarding.

• Experience in supporting DLA application teams and enterprise systems is pertinent.

• A Master's degree (MA/MS) in a technical field with at least fifteen (15) years of experience is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
