This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

• Deliver remote IT assistance via a shared incoming call queue

• Support users from various clients with a diverse array of technical challenges

• Engage with different technologies and support needs to cultivate a versatile skill set

• Utilize a ticketing system to handle support inquiries

• Ensure proper documentation is maintained

• Follow organizational policies and protocols

• Comply with stringent change management processes

• Collaborate effectively with Systems Engineers and Senior Systems Engineers

• Minimum of 2 years of IT experience in Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, or Systems Administration

• Proficient in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop, and mobile devices

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities

• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Azure AD

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, and Group Policy

• Experience with Citrix XenApp is a plus

• Background in supporting Sophos or similar endpoint threat management solutions

• Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V

• Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, DMZ, WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, and firewalls

• Experience in the financial sector and familiarity with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet, or CapIQ are advantageous

• Significant experience in an MSP setting, especially with the ConnectWise suite, is preferable

• Exposure to or capability to support workloads in Azure or AWS is beneficial

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Box, Dropbox, Duo, Okta, or AirWatch is desirable

• Experience supporting Citrix XenApp or similar solutions is a plus

• Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions such as Carbon Black, Cylance, CrowdStrike, or Cyberhat is advantageous

• Experience with Mimecast or mail security gateways such as IronPort or Proofpoint is desirable

• Advanced understanding of storage and virtualization platforms like Nimble, Pure Storage, NetApp, EMC, VMware, Hyper-V, or XenServer is beneficial
