Systems Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain our infrastructure for container analysis and hardening to ensure the security and reliability of our containerized applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine system requirements and create efficient, scalable solutions.

• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C/C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.

• Employ static and dynamic code analysis tools, such as LLVM, eBPF, and similar technologies, to uncover vulnerabilities and enhance system performance.

• Implement and manage container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to facilitate our cloud computing environment.

• Automate deployment and configuration processes to optimize operational efficiency.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments in system programming, containerization, and open-source technologies.

• Offer technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

• Engage effectively with stakeholders and communicate project status, risks, and challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in system-level programming.

• Strong expertise in C/C++, Python, and Linux.

• Familiarity with various open-source technologies, frameworks, and scripting languages.

• Comprehensive knowledge of LLVM, eBPF, and similar static and dynamic code analysis tools.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Cilium and Pixie is an advantage.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for writing clean, efficient code.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, agile environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
